Registering on Parapool is free for paraplanners and gives you access to the UK's only online paraplanning marketplace. The platform is specifically designed for those working with St James's Place (SJP) and allows for a seemless paraplanning pipeline when used in conjunction with iBusiness.

Step 2. Create Your Profile

Parapool is designed to improve your case flow and promote your skills, experience and track record directly to St. James’s Place partners. You can upload a summary of your career to date and filter the Parapool market place for cases in which you specialize.

We have partnered with Stripe for secure online payments. In order to finalise your profile, we will require you to link your profile to an existing or new Stripe account – so that you can be paid directly into your nominated account.

Step 3. Apply for Cases

Once you have set up your profile, you’re ready to go. You now have full access to the Parapool marketplace. Filter and review listings which require paraplanning and place a bid on the cases you want to paraplan.

At Parapool, we believe freelancers should have flexibility over when they work and how much they charge – that’s why can choose which cases you want to bid on and you can set the price. If your bid is accepted, Parapool will create a standardised contract of service (see St. James’s Place template here) between you and the Adviser, which both parties are required to agree to and is designed to protect both the paraplanner and adviser.

Step 4. Get Hired

Our intelligent platform will update advisers as you place bids. Parapool will share your profile with the adviser, along with your qualifications, experience, track record and ratings for the type of recommendation you are looking to paraplan. You will be notified in real time via the platform (or via email if opted-in) when you are sucessful in bidding for a paraplanning job.

Step 5. Streamlined Payments

We understand nobody likes chasing invoices. That’s why we have partnered with Stripe online payments, we automate your invoices and enable advisers to pay directly to your nominated bank account at the click of a button once your case has been completed. Parapool also provides you with a full history of all your written cases and transactions, meaning you can closely monitor your Parapool activity and revenue.
